This is very important to realize -clutter is a temporary, changeable phenomenon. If you’re carrying excess weight in your body, what else is it but a kind of clutter? Clutter is, after all, anything that takes up space -whether in your house, mind or body- and doesn’t make any kind of useful contribution to your life. Next time you are worrying about anything– tell yourself to just let go and enjoy where you are. Practice letting go of your thoughts and emotions. Letting go of the unnecessary so we can enjoy the present moment. And last, but not least – practice letting go: Much of our clutter is due to the fact we can’t let go. Here are some things you can do if your brain is foggy: eliminate noise, breath, meditate, and make a list of the things that occupy your mind, whatever thoughts, worries, fears and write them down and stash them away. We feel like we are just spinning our wheels. The clutter in our minds can prevent us from feeling good. If you want to do it, you’ll find the time. Be realistic about what you can do you may have the feeling that a project will take forever or that you have “plenty of time.” The more realistic you become, the less likely you’ll be to procrastinate. If it seems like there really is no time, carve out a half hour or so from your existing schedule. You may find that it isn’t as bad as you expected, and once you’re involved, you’ll notice that you’ve overcome the highest hurdle. Once you’re in motion, it will be easier to keep going. Start: The hardest part is getting started. Spring is a time to ‘start all over again’, so what a better time to ‘unclutter’: detox, cleanse, and organize. The whole idea of clutter and decluttering has gotten popular in recent years, and for good reason. Finally you can smell spring in the air… After a long cold winter here in the East Coast, we can actually listen to the birds singing, see the squirrels running and it almost feels like we are part of a Disney movie.Īfter hibernating for a few months, we realize we have to shave, get a pedicure and start losing extra pounds.
